Thankyou President Hollande

I mean its not like anyone warned the French President that this may happen.

In today's Daily Mail they report some sad news for the new French Socialist Utopia, they say

"France's super-rich are flocking to 'wealth-friendly' nations like Britain and Switzerland to escape looming tax hikes announced by the country's new socialist government.
Large numbers of France's most well-heeled families are selling up and moving to neighbouring countries, estate agency figures have shown.
It is thought many are leaving France to avoid a proposed tax rate of 75 per cent on earnings of more than 1million euros - £780,000."

Come on, would you happily allow the state to take 75% of your wages before you even see it?

Lets hope they invest their money in starting small businesses in this country.

  1. In 1976 the Swedish government levied a 102% tax rate on some people's income, including the children's author Astrid Lindgren, who wrote a satirical book about it. The ruling Social Democrats lost power in a general election later that year. Astrid Lindgren remained a supporter of the Social Democrats until her death in 2002. That's what socialism does to your brain.
