Guest Blog : Gender Neutral Toys

KT's pal Ollie has been doing Monday Mockery photoshops for the last couple of weeks. But today he has written a guest blog. A man a few words and lots of pictures.

So Marks and Spencer are rolling with the politically correct waves.

Today the twitter-sphere tore them a new one for allowing Muslim staff to refuse to serve customers with alcohol and pork. What next do I get turned away by the hindu who won't sell me my burgers? Or worse, how embarrassing when the Catholic calls her supervisor of the public address, "Condom sales required at counter 4".

They have seen the error of their ways and have now issued an apology http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25488259.

However they have yet to reverse the politically correct nonsense over gender Neutral toy packaging http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/dec/17/marks-and-spencer-gender-neutral-toys. So today I asked them would they been stocking Stella Creasy gender neutral underwear in time for Christmas.

Stella wasn't happy and responded with

Lovely afternoon at @WMGallery with the @folpe17 singers- but back to find some numbskull posting photoshopped pics of me in pants #feckoff

The tweet came along with the obligatory block that people incapable of seeing your point fall back on. Never one to fall at the first hurdle, I thought perhaps I was being too vague as I had not mentioned toys. I put that right quickly.

Countless retweets, favourites and responses later Stella responded with an abbreviated 'For Fucks Sake' denial of her position.

FFS people! For avoidance of doubt am not 'demanding gender neutral toys', just want kids 2 be able 2 choose 4 themselves what 2 play with!

So all we need now is for Marks and Spencer to drop the gender neutral toy nonsense and common sense will have prevailed.

In the mean time please use the #hashtag #SaveLittleMissArty.

Thanks to KT for the airtime, please feel free to follow TheRedRag and merry Christmas to you all.

Ed Balls Is Back

You know what to do ;)

Sunday Catch Up

Some opinion on news :

Graeme Swann quits cricket in the middle of Ashes tour, KT wishes him and his family well for the future but KT is wondering whether he quit before he was dropped (his form has been of since beginning of year), The big question is why the England management allowed this to happen now?

Prime Ministers Questions : The white middle aged millionaire won (as normal) .

Ed Miliband wants to get rid of some fruities (fruit machines) : KT asks how different is a fruit machine to the State? One takes your money by force......

West Ham lost against Man Utd , KT still backs big Sam, I cannot see any other manager that could do the job better than Sam, his experience will keep the mighty Hammers in the Premier League.

Duck Dynasty : KT supports the freedom of speech but finds it hard to take seriously a man who takes lectures from a man wearing a frock who passes on messages from a sky fairy.

And that wont cost you a penny ;)

Rob Ford Dancing To One Love

He makes Boris look like a boring uncle at a wedding ;)

First!

When KT posted this post on his mental illness he was overwhelmed with the response he got, not only from people that he knew but from total strangers, KT was sobbing for the right reasons again.

One of the responses KT got was from the good folks at the GuidoFawkes blog, being the legends they are they commissioned a t-shirt for me and sent me i, so here it is :

KT would like to say thank you to everyone who sent messages of support, KT did read all of them and is sorry that he could not reply to each and everyone.

Note : For those in any doubt that is the correct way to put a bog roll on bog roll holder.

The Daily Mail have a video a UKIP Councillor saying "Send them all back" , KT cant see what the fuss is with this, It sounds consistent with what many UKIP supporters (that i have seen) say as well.

But then again maybe an elected Representative shouldn't take advice from the people that elect them......

Dark Days

Fuck me, my life is a mess, last week i wrote about my mental illnes , in that post i wrote about how i thought about killing myself :

"For the last two nights i have spent 2-3 hours thinking about the best way to kill myself before i have managed to get to sleep, Do I overdose? Jump in front of a train? Jump of a building? Take poison? Cut my wrists?,"

Well Wednesday morning i lost that battle, weakness engulfed me and i sat and swallowed all my medication :

I also done a packet of painkillers but even then i fucked that up, i am still here, still breathing and still annoying people.

KT has got a few days to settle a personal debt that at the moment he cant settle.

Queen sung the song "Only the good die young", in that case i will still be here in 200 years.

No matter the situation you can always count on KT to screw it up!

Update : A kind follower has offered to lend KT the money, KT is grateful and thankful :) xxx

We Have All Thought It

Gold!

Labours Wonga Embarrassment

It had to happen, after launching a campaign against Wonga it turns out a Labour council has invested taxpayers money in.......... Wonga :

"A council whose leader hit out at Newcastle United’s sponsorship by pay-day lender Wonga has indirectly contributed money to the firm, it has been revealed.
Newcastle City Council is part of a pension fund with £233,000 invested in the company, it has emerged.
Newcastle is one of five local authorities paying into the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund, which ploughed the sum into Wonga.
The city council has previously criticised the lender, making its website inaccessible from all public and council-owned computers in Newcastle."

The Chronicle goes on :

"And leader Nick Forbes has been outspoken in his criticism of payday loans since Newcastle United signed up Wonga as its shirt sponsors.
He said at the time: “I’m sickened. It’s a sad indictment of the profit-at-any-price culture at Newcastle United"

Along with the "ethical" Co-op bank this is just another example of the left and labour failing to practice what they preach!

What a two faced Wonga!

The Thin Blue Line

I dont know about you but i find this tweet very worrying, While KT can understand that the police are upset about the crash and the death and injury of those involved it does not give them the OK to go around and suspend the freedom of speech and expression of others, The freedom of speech extends further than the freedom of speech of those you agree with, it goes to those that you disagree with.

If a current coalition Minister tweeted something similar the left would be saying we live in a "fascist state" and clamping down on the "plebs" etc, Freedom of speech is for everyone, not just those you agree with.

My Mental Illness

I have been wanting to write about this for a while, regular readers will have noticed that the blog took a little break around September/October time, well I say the blog when i actually mean me, see I crashed, stopped functioning became fucking useless and needed to getaway for the sake of my sanity.

I have a mental illness, actually i have had one for years and have been on medication to keep it under control which did work, like Johnathon Trott mine to is stress related, All i will say on Trotts situation is that he will receive the best care and support a person could ask for, the reason I wont say anymore is that each mental illness is unique to that person and that the treatment for that person is tailored around their individual needs and situation.

Back to me tho, my illness came on because i took on too much, to much responsibility, i made to many promises that in the end i could not keep but instead of being honest with myself and others i soldiered on because I did not want to let people down, the effects of this meant i was not able to sleep properly as i had not had time to process everything that had happened during that day, I didnt want to be a burden on my friends even tho my friends knew of my illness and have always been supportive of me, but i didnt see it that way, i was ill, stressed and almost on 100% auto pilot , just doing my best to fulfill those promises made.

So I went away for a month to refresh, to get some order back into my life, to get my head right, to use my network of friends and support, to try and win one more battle and to try and return to some sort of normality. I said "to try and win one more battle" because since was young i have been fighting and scrapping just to exist , where children expect to spend first years of their life learning, playing and being loved by loving parents mine was the opposite as i wrote here over a year ago, instead of a childhood I have this void filled by bitterness, hate, rage and pain which is aimed at one person, Me.

Now I am back and straight back into the fire, while i was away no bills got paid, i went overdrawn and everything slid. I look back at the last 6 months at see the amount of bad decisions I made, be it bad decision to do with finances to bad decisions about my own health (mental and physical) and somehow i have to clear up this mess, the mess i am 100% responsible for.

For the last two nights i have spent 2-3 hours thinking about the best way to kill myself before i have managed to get to sleep, Do I overdose? Jump in front of a train? Jump of a building? Take poison? Cut my wrists?,And then I think of the "When" "How" and choosing the one that will have the least effect on others for this is the least i can do considering the amount of misery and pain i have caused others during my existence  , This is the battle I am having with myself every night and every day, this is the battle i need to win.

This is my mental illness!

Jeremy Hunt Lives Up To His Nickname

Jeremy Hunt claimed for 5p paper clip on expenses reports the Mirror :

"But the mega-rich Health Secretary has instead claimed 5p from taxpayers for just one of them.
And the miserly Cabinet minister also submitted expenses requests for an 8p page marker and a 41p black folder."

While it is within the rules KT thinks you have to be a proper Mr Scoorge to make the effort to fill out a form for a 5p paper clip.

If only the government that he is a member of  were as tight with our money as they seem to be with their own money.

This Wren Catches The Worm

Sir Nick Harvey was shown up for the politician he is by this former Wren :

"A Royal British Legion worker approached a former Armed Forces minister following a Remembrance Day service and 'reimbursed' him for £7.20 in expenses he claimed after attending a previous ceremony.
Fiona Laing, 45, marched up to Sir Nick Harvey, 52, in front of other dignitaries, officials and members of the public, and gave him an envelope containing the money."
The MP claims it was a mistake saying :

"Had I spotted that individual item I would not have claimed for it, even though it was permissible within the rules.
"Unfortunately I did not notice it: we are all capable of human error and regrettably this was one on my part."

It seems all lot of MP`s make mistakes when filling out their expenses forms, must be something in  the water in the Palace of Westminster.....

Gordon Brown Ignores Ed "One Nation" Miliband

Labour had their opposition debate on scrapping the "bedroom tax" , Ed "One nation" Miliband lead the rallying cries asking people to RT (retweet) to show support, That was labour trying to get message across on social media but as we all know all that maters is the vote, Hansard reports the result as thus :

                     " Ayes 226, Noes 252."

A close vote, even worse (depending on your view) is that 31 labour Mp`s didnt vote, Labour Whips tried to assist

KT would like to know who is paired with Gordon Brown (former PM but still and MP) as according to hansard he didnt vote  :

This is not the first time Gordon has missed an important vote, KT reported at the time that he missed the vote on equal marriage.

Then again maybe Gordon supports the "bedroom tax"?
