Reasons To Despair At Humanity (Part 1139)

KT really did not want to be on twitter today, You see even tho i mostly bring you stuff about politics i also do actually like other stuff, However, one topic is being mentioned by all groups, the passing of Baroness Thatcher.

Karren Brady (Vice Chairman of the greatest club in the world, West Ham United) paid her tribute by quoting Baroness Thatcher, while its a good quote KT was left speechless by the first reply to it:

KT was once advised that "saying nothing when you have nothing nice to say is good manners", wish others would take that on board sometimes.......

  1. American President Theodore Roosevelt had a daughter named Alice, who was a socialite of the first order (and was so much of a handful that he once remarked, "I can govern the country, or I can control Alice, but I can't do both!"). Miss Roosevelt was reputed to have said to all her gossipy friends, "If you have nothing nice to say about anybody-- sit next to me!" Alice would go on to marry the Republican Leader in the House, so her "caustic" tongue didn't "cost" her, so to speak. But I suppose when you're rich and your Daddy is powerful, you get away with bloody murder. You and I couldn't do it, and that's who the advice is meant for.
