Vote For A Banker?

Video Via liarpoliticians

To be fair i had never thought about what Mr Farage had done before politics, however after this clip i saw a few things on my timeline so i decided to have a look myself.

According to wiki

" In 1982 he joined the London commodity brokerage firm Drexel Burnham Lambert.[8] In 1986, he joined Credit Lyonnais Rouse.[8] He joined Refco in 1994, and Natexis Metals in 2003.[8] "

Dexel : According  to wiki a four years after Nigel Left the firm it filed for bankruptcy due to illegal activities in Junk Bond market

Then there is Credit Lyonnais , of which wiki says

" Crédit Lyonnais is a historic French bank. In the early 1990s it was the largest French bank, majority state-owned at that point. Crédit Lyonnais was the subject of poor management during that period which almost led to its bankruptcy in 1993. It was acquired by former rival Crédit Agricole in 2003."

Then Refco

"Refco was a New York-based financial services company, primarily known as a broker of commodities and futures contracts. It was founded in 1969 as "Ray E. Friedman and Co." Prior to its collapse in October, 2005, the firm had over $4 billion in approximately 200,000 customer accounts,

And then of Natexis , well this seems to be only one that has not collapsed or filed for bankruptcy.

Surely the last thing we need is more former bankers/brokers in our politics???
