Ferrets in a sack?

This just came across my twitter feed :

"AN executive member of Warrington Borough Council has been suspended by the Labour party.
Clr Hitesh Patel, who represents Great Sankey South, was suspended on Thursday and will no longer be able hold official positions within the party - including his role as executive member for personnel and communications.
It is understood he won’t be at tonight’s full council meeting in the Town Hall.
He said: "This is a purely political dispute which will be resolved internally by the Labour party.
“There are serious questions for Helen Jones MP to answer about the conduct and behaviour of her son, Clr Chris Vobe towards democratically elected Labour councillors in Warrington and I expect to be exonerated.
“In the meantime I will continue to work hard to represent the residents of Great Sankey South."
A North West Labour party spokesman said: "Hitesh Patel has been suspended from the Labour party while an investigation takes place."

“It would not be appropriate to comment any further at this point."
